The Global Youth Science Journal (GYSJ) is committed to the principles of open access and the free exchange of scientific knowledge.

Authors retain copyright of their published work.

Submission to GYSJ does not transfer ownership of copyright to the journal. Authors remain the copyright holders of their manuscripts and published articles.

License to Publish

By submitting a manuscript to GYSJ, authors grant the Global Youth Science Journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

  • Review and evaluate submitted manuscripts;
  • Publish accepted articles;
  • Distribute and make articles publicly available;
  • Archive and preserve published works;
  • Index articles in scholarly databases and repositories;
  • Display and promote published content in connection with journal activities.

This license remains in effect for the duration of the article's publication and archival record.

Open Access License

All articles published by GYSJ are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License.

Under this license, anyone may:

  • Share published content in any medium or format;
  • Copy and redistribute the material;
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the work;
  • Use the material for any lawful purpose, including commercial purposes;

provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any modifications are indicated.

Author Responsibilities

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

  • The work is original and their own;
  • Any third-party content has been properly cited and permission obtained where necessary;
  • All listed authors have approved the submission;
  • They have the authority to grant the publication license described in this policy.

Archiving and Indexing

Published articles may be archived, preserved, and indexed through third-party repositories, databases, and scholarly services, including Zenodo and other academic platforms.

Such archiving does not affect the authors' copyright ownership.

Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, website content including logos, branding, design elements, graphics, and administrative content is the property of the Global Youth Science Journal.

Research articles remain subject to their respective licensing terms and copyright ownership.
