Transparency Report

Last Updated: June 2026

At the Global Youth Science Journal (GYS Journal), we believe that trust is built through transparency. As a youth-led, non-profit scientific publishing initiative, we are committed to openly sharing how the journal operates, how decisions are made, and how any funds received are used.

This page provides an overview of our current organizational structure, operating costs, and financial principles.

Funding Sources

As of now, GYS Journal does not generate revenue and does not currently accept donations.

In the future, we may accept voluntary donations, sponsorships, grants, or other forms of support to help sustain and expand our operations. Any significant funding sources will be disclosed on this page.

Operating Expenses

GYS Journal is operated with minimal costs and relies heavily on volunteer contributions.

Current expenses primarily include:

  • Domain name registration and renewal
  • Website infrastructure and maintenance
  • Communication and administrative tools

The journal does not currently maintain physical offices or paid facilities.

Infrastructure Costs

To keep costs low and maximize accessibility, GYS Journal currently operates using:

  • Notes: While InfinityFree allows us to operate without hosting expenses, it may provide slower performance and limited resources compared to commercial hosting providers.
