2. Manuscript File Format

Document is saved in Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF (.pdf) format, ideally using the GYSJ Manuscript Template.

3. Ethical Statements Included

If the research involves human participants or vertebrate animals, explicit ethics approval / informed consent statements are included under Materials & Methods.

4. Chicago Citation & DOI Verification

All in-text citations match the reference list formatted in Chicago style, with working DOIs or URLs.

5. AI Disclosure

Any generative AI tool usage during preparation is declared transparently in the Acknowledgments section.
